BOARD MEMBERS
Joe Grano
Chairman
Mr. Grano is Chairman and CEO of Centurion Holdings LLC, a company that advises private and public companies. From 2001-2004, Mr. Grano was Chairman of UBS Financial Services Inc. (formerly UBS PaineWebber). In addition to being one of the financial service industry's leading executives, Mr. Grano is involved in a wide range of educational and philanthropic endeavors. In 2002, Mr. Grano was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as the Chairman of the Homeland Security Advisory Council. He relinquished his position in August 2005.
Prior to joining PaineWebber, Mr. Grano was with Merrill Lynch for 16 years, holding various senior management positions including Director of National Sales. In 1987, he was named the industry's best retail marketing executive in a survey conducted by Investment Dealers' Digest. Mr. Grano was Chairman of the Board of Governors of the NASD and a member of the NASD's Executive Committee.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Grano served in the U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets). He became one of the Army's youngest officers, achieving the rank of Captain.
Mr. Grano holds Honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from Pepperdine University and Babson College as well as Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees from Queens College, City University of New York and Central Connecticut State University. In addition he holds an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Haven. Mr. Grano served as Vice Chairman of the Queens College Foundation Board of Trustees, and was on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater New York and on the Board of Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a member of the Council for the United States and Italy, a member of the City University of New York's Business Leadership Council and a former member of the National Board of D.A.R.E.
Dan Vetras
Chief Executive Officer
Dan Vetras is the Chief Executive Officer of Visible Technologies. Dan Vetras brings over 25 years of experience in technology, sales management, business development and M&A activity to the Visible Technologies' executive management team. As CEO, he is responsible for corporate strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, and is very involved in building long-term relationships with clients and partners. Most recently, Dan served as president and CEO of Talisma, a Bellevue, Washington-based company that sells customer interaction management solutions. While at Talisma he was instrumental in the May 2008 sale of the company to nGenera, a provider of business innovation platform software. Prior to joining Talisma, Vetras was president and CEO at Captura Software, where he directed the company's strategies and operations and played a dominant role in Captura's 2002 acquisition by Concur Technologies. Before taking the helm at Captura, he was Vice President of Sales at Intranets.com/Web Ex. Dan served IBM as vice president of worldwide consumer software sales upon its acquisition of Edmark Corporation, where he was vice president of consumer sales and channel marketing. Philip R. Dur
Managing Director, Investor Growth Capital
Phil has been involved in venture capital and private equity since 1995 and joined Investor Growth Capital's technology investment team in 2004. Phil works out of IGC's Menlo Park office and focuses on investments in software and technology-enabled services businesses. Prior to joining IGC, Phil spent four and a half years with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in later stage software and services companies. Phil also spent two years before joining MSVP with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners focusing on investments in software, data communications, and media businesses. Phil earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Princeton University.
Phil serves as a director on the boards of ID Analytics, InQuira, Novariant, and Venda and as a board observer with ePAC, ForeSee Results, Mindjet, and Siperian. Phil also worked with IGC's investments in Visiprise (acquired by SAP) and Vallent (acquired by IBM).
Michelle Goldberg
Principal, Ignition Partners
Michelle is a Partner at Ignition, investing in consumer and enterprise software and services.
Michelle represents Ignition as director on the boards of Mpire, Visible Technologies, and SEOmoz. She was an observer on UIEvolution (sold to Square Enix, Japan).
Michelle was an investment banker at Olympic Capital Partners where she specialized in mid-market mergers and acquisitions. Michelle worked in management consulting for A.T. Kearney. As an associate in the Financial Institutions Group, Michelle focused on strategic and operational improvements for Fortune 100 clients. She also spent time working in Taipei with a group developing export strategy for the Chinese government.
Michelle earned her B.A. degree from Columbia, and an M.A. degree from Harvard University.
Matt Krna
Vice President, Investor Growth Capital
Matt Krna is a Vice President at Investor Growth Capital. Matt has worked in the venture capital and private equity industry since 1999, and joined IGC's New York office in 2005. Matt focuses principally on investments in the internet and digital media sectors.
Prior to joining Investor Growth Capital, Matt spent three years with Canaan Partners, a multi-billion dollar venture capital firm, where he was responsible for early-stage investment activity across a broad spectrum of technology industries. Before Canaan, Matt worked in the technology investment banking group at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he completed numerous M&A, equity and debt capital-raising transactions in the semiconductor, communications, software and internet sectors. Matt began his career as a corporate finance analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Matt earned a BA in History, with honors, from Harvard College after three years of study.
Matt currently represents IGC as a director on the boards of Visible Technologies and Dotomi, and is a board observer at ContextWeb, Exagrid Systems, Greenway Medical Technologies and ID Analytics.
David J. Moore
Chairman and Founder of 24/7 Real Media
David Moore is Chairman and Founder of 24/7 Real Media, Inc., a leading global digital marketing company that offers award winning ad serving, targeting, tracking, and analytics platforms, along with powerful search marketing capabilities and a global alliance network of Web sites. As Chairman of 24/7 Real Media, Mr. Moore focuses on strengthening the company's industry position, strategic relationships, recruitment and business development. Mr. Moore also works closely with WPP Digital to support the development and implementation of WPP's digital initiatives.
Mr. Moore has led 24/7 Real Media's growth from start-up to its current position as a leader in digital marketing. He is a respected industry veteran with over 30 years experience in new media property development. Throughout his career, he has consistently distinguished himself as a pioneer and leader. When the bubble burst on the dotcom industry, taking his company with it, Mr. Moore was determined that his company would survive. He held true to his vision that if his company survived it would emerge stronger, with a larger market opportunity and fewer competitors. With a series of bold moves, he succeeded.
Mr. Moore is a compelling speaker and seasoned executive with expertise in all facets of the digital advertising industry. He currently serves as Vice Chair for the Interactive Advertising Bureau and has been a member on the board since 2002. Throughout his career, Mr. Moore has held positions at companies such as Turner Broadcasting and Viacom. He co-founded Petry Interactive, which eventually became 24/7 Real Media.
Mr. Moore has served as a director of Local Matters, Inc., a provider of internet, voice and wireless technology solutions, since March 2004 and as Chairman since March 2006. He also serves on the board of Our Stage and Auditudes, both early stage internet companies, the board of directors for the Morgans Hotel Group, and on the board of directors of the Advertising Education Foundation (AEF) since May 2007.

Lance Maerov
SVP Corporate Development, WPP
Lance currently manages WPP’s Corporate Development team in North America. His primary focus is to identify, negotiate and execute acquisitions, investments and joint ventures. He began his work for the Corporate Development Group in March 2005 in New York after WPP’s acquisition of Grey Global Group. In this role, Lance reports directly into Martin Sorrell.
Before joining WPP, Lance worked at Grey Global Group as its head of corporate development and made over 20 venture investments on behalf of Grey through its Grey Ventures Subsidiary. Prior to joining Grey, Lance handled acquisitions and investments for Reed Business Information, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reed Elsevier. Lance was a founder of iFusion, an early push-technology start-up, and raised $20 million of venture capital on its behalf over 1995-1997 before joining Reed Elsevier.
Lance earned a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont and was four year letter winner in the school’s Division I Men’s Lacrosse Team. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
Christina M. Van Tassell
Partner, Centurion holdings
Christina is a Partner with Centurion Holdings LLC, a firm that advises public and private clients on all facets of business strategy, planning, development as well as obtaining access to capital markets. Christina's responsibilities include counseling her clients on the financial aspects and overall impact to their business with respect to the different strategies they undertake. Christina also serves as the Centurion's Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Centurion, Christina was a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She worked within Transaction Services developing and leading the European footprint of its Strategic Structuring Services based in London, which was used as a framework for global expansion. Her responsibilities focused on bringing new cutting-edge products to the market while maintaining protocol within the shifting accounting, regulatory, and legal environment in order to help clients better deal with market changes. Christina received her dual Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and London Business School. Christina is a Certified Public Accountant and a dual citizen of America and Sweden.
